Method Ad ‘Shiny Suds’ Pulled Over Sexism Complaints (VIDEO)
Wow. I have to say that that did make me very uncomfortable. And it was a poor choice on their part—it was a bit too real for women who have been through something like that (which is most of us). The bubbles were threatening in a very real way.
An easy fix would have been to make the soap bubbles’ voices more comical and less threatening. Exact same words delivered in funnier voices would have conveyed the message I suspect the producers actually *wanted* to convey.
